Mykola Zhuravel
Mykola Zhuravel is a multifaceted artist. A master of graphic art, painting and sculpture, he masterfully composes his works without violating the harmony and unity of the created image. His creations emerge as the subjects and means for analyzing art itself. Innovative suggestions actualize forgotten events and traditions, providing for their development, restoring their contents.
Biography
1960 - was born in Magnitogorsk, Russia.
1979 - Crimean Art College named after N. Samokisha, Simferopol, Ukraine.
1989 - Kyiv State Art Institute, Kyiv, Ukraine.
Since 1995 - Member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine.
Since 1996 - a member of the art association "BG-ART", Ukraine.
Since 2009 - Academician of the Academy of Contemporary Art of Rome, Italy.
2011 - nominated for the Shevchenko Prize. Kyiv, Ukraine.
2016 - First Prize at the Kunstverein ART-Projekt Worpswede. Berlin, Germany.
In the list of hundred best artists of Ukraine, according to the publication "100 names. Contemporary art of Ukraine since independence."
Lives and works in Kiev, Ukraine.
